Overview: Welcome to our Summer Spark Learners: Summer Social Skills and Language Development Program, a 9-week summer program designed to help children ages 3-12 develop their social and communication skills and enhance their language abilities in a supportive and engaging environment. We specialize in communication delay, Autism, hearing loss and English language learners.
Through a variety of interactive activities, games, and group exercises, children will have the opportunity to build friendships, improve communication, and enhance their overall social and language development.
Program Goals:
- Foster social interaction: Encourage children to engage in group activities, share with peers, and develop positive relationships with others.
- Enhance language skills: support children in expanding their vocabulary, improving communication, and developing early literacy skills.
- Prompt emotional intelligence: Help children recognize and understand their own emotions and those of others, and learn how to express themselves in healthy ways
- Encourage creativity and imagination: Provide opportunities for children to express themselves through arts, crafts, music, and imaginative play.
Activities:
- Morning/Afternoon meetings: Daily group discussions and interactive storytelling to encourage children to express themselves and listen to others.
- Arts and crafts: Engaging art projects that promote creativity and fine motor skills while encouraging verbal expression
- Music and movement: Fun activities to promote language development through songs, dancing, and musical games.
- Dramatic play: Role-playing activities to enhance language skills and encourage imaginative thinking.
Staff: The program will be led by experienced and degreed early childhood educators with a passion for promoting social and language development in young children. The staff will be trained to create a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive.
Parent Involvement: Parents will be encouraged to participate in special events and workshops designed to provide them with strategies for supporting their children’s social and language development at home.
In summary, “Summer Spark Learners” provides a comprehensive summer program that focuses on fostering social skills and language development in a fun and supportive setting, laying a strong foundation for the children’s future growth and learning.
Duration: The program will run for 9 weeks (7 week minimum option). The program starts the week of June 3rd, 2024 and ends the week of July 29, 2024. We will be closed Thursday July 4th and Friday July 5th.
Frequency: Parents have the option to enroll their child for 2, 3 or 5 days a week for 3 hours.

Program Options and Pricing for the 9-week Program:
1. Two Days a Week Program (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday)
- Cost for 7 weeks is $1,400.00
- Cost for 8 weeks is $1,600.00
- Cost for 9 weeks is $1,800.00
- Ideal for families seeking a part-time engagement in our enriching environment.
2. Three Days a Week Program (Monday/Wednesday/Friday)
- Cost for 7 weeks is $2,100.00
- Cost for 8 weeks is $2,400.00
- Cost for 9 weeks is $2,700.00
- A balanced approach for more comprehensive learning and social interaction.
3. Five Days a Week Program (Monday-Friday)
- Cost for 7 weeks is $2,800.00
- Cost for 8 weeks is $3,200.00
- Cost for 9 weeks is $3,600.00
- Our most immersive experience, ideal for maximum exposure to our educational and developmental activities.
Note: All prices are for the full 9-week summer program (7 week minimum option). If tuition is paid in full by May 20th, you will receive a 5% discount on total cost. Tuition covers all program materials, activities, weekly communication log and one phone conference call.
Registration Fee: To secure your child’s place in our “Summer Spark Learners” program, we require a non-refundable registration fee of $100. This fee covers the administrative costs associated with enrolling your child and preparing for their participation in our enriching summer program. Please note that this registration fee is separate from the tuition costs and is required at the time of enrollment.
Additional Services: For parents who wish to have their child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Full Individual Evaluation (FIE) reviewed to better integrate their specific goals into our summer program, we offer this service for an additional fee of $50. This ensures that our program is tailored to meet the unique needs of your child, aligning our activities and strategies with their specific educational objectives.
