Michele is a degreed and certified teacher, holding certifications in Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Special Education PK - 12, English as a Second Language Learner and Principal Certification. Michele has worked in public schools for 17 years and one year as a Director of a private preschool.
Michele has had the privilege of working for Richardson ISD, Plano ISD and Frisco ISD. Because of her achievements in working with children in deaf and hard of hearing during her employment at Plano ISD, Michele was asked to speak at different city, state and national conventions regarding her language development practices with deaf and hard of hearing students. Michele was able to use her language development strategies to work with English second language Learners and with young children with autism in Frisco ISD.
Michele loves working with young children. She’s been an instructional team leader for over 6 years in both Plano ISD and Frisco ISD. She loves supporting other educators and thrives seeing them succeed. Seeing them succeed means their students succeed. Michele is ready to use her public-school experience in the private setting. Michele is excited to help her students use tools to successfully communicate at school and in social settings.
